Goonawarra Neighbourhood House is the ideal space for family gatherings, such as kids’ birthday parties. The house was fully renovated in 2021 and features a state-of-the-art kitchen, expansive multi-purpose room, fully enclosed playground and covered outdoor space. Goonawarra Neighbourhood is a fully accessible venue, with ambulant bathrooms and step free access throughout. As part of our renovations, energy efficient appliances, climate control & solar panels, reducing our impact on the environment. Goonawarra Neighbourhood Houses has three spaces that can be hired individually or part of a full house hire.

We have been the preferred choice for local birthday parties, christenings, family reunions, workshops and business meetings for more than 20 years. In addition to venue hire, Goonawarra also offers equipment hire that can be used as part of any venue hire or hired separately. KITCHEN & DINING

Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel surfaces, dual oven, induction cooktop & dishwasher. The eight seat dining table, make this the perfect space for classes, demonstrations, or for onsite catering.

MULT-PURPOSE ROOM

Our multi-purpose can comfortably accommodate up to 60 people. Seating & tables are available adding to the many uses of this space. The multi-purpose space connects directly to the outdoor play area with direct line of sight.

MEETING ROOM

The fully private meeting room features a 12-seat boardroom table and audio-visual equipment. Our meeting room is ideal for other community organisations needing a physical location for a few hours a week.

All rates are subject to change.
Management reserves the right to refuse permission for any function they feel may be inappropriate.
All users who are running a business like activity and drawing an income from that activity must have an ABN and be covered by their own Public Liability insurance.
Property and personal belongings are the responsibility of the hirer and the House management cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss.
NO SMOKING policy in place for all areas internal and external.
Extreme weather policy applies on days of extreme or catastrophic fire danger.
The venue is not accessible outside of reserved hire times.
